Walmart and Pizza Gallery at The Avenue partner with Health First to offer FREE life-saving CPR/AED classes for the public on June 5
ROCKLEDGE, FL - You can't put a price on a life, but you can put one on the cost to save a life. Thanks to Walmart, that cost of learning to save lives is being covered!
Health First announced today that Walmart has generously donated grant money to be put towards the cost of providing FREE, one-hour CPR/AED training sessions to the public at The Training Center of Health First on Saturday, June 5, from 8am to 1pm (one-hour sessions start at top of each hour). The Training Center of Health First is located in the Rivercrest Center at 3470 N. US Highway 1 in Melbourne (just south of Post Road on US 1).
"We are extremely pleased that Walmart has chosen to support Health First's CPR program," said Health First spokesman Elliot Cohen. "Walmart's support of our programs demonstrate the kind of community partnership that benefits everyone. We encourage everyone to take advantage and learn this life-saving skill."
As an added incentive to take the class, Pizza Gallery at The Avenue Viera also is also offering a free personal gourmet pizza to anyone completing the CPR/AED training. A certificate for pizza will be given to those completing the training at the conclusion of each class.
The free American Heart Association "Friends & Family" CPR and AED training sessions are being offered as part of National CPR and AED Awareness Week. Pre-registration is required. Call 321-434-1972 to register.
The Training Center of Health First is a proud member of the Health First family.
