Benefits The Bright Star Center for Greiving Children & Families program
Bright Star Center for Grieving Children & Families, a program designed specifically to aid in the healing of grieving children and their families following the death of a loved one. For children who have lost a loved one, the road can be filled with a silent pain that others may forget.
Services are provided through Hospice of Health First’s family of programs, including Grieving Children Services, Bright Star workshops, and Camp Bright Star. This unique program receives no support from federal, state, or local governments, insurance reimbursement, or third-party payments. Families contribute as they are able, but no child is ever turned away.
